Columbia Basin Badger Club
Program:
Overview
What will the Tri-Cities look like next year? In five years? In a generation? This community is filled with dreamers who have ideas that could help shape our future. For our May 29 meeting, we will bring in three speakers who will share their vision for what come be coming to the Tri-Cities and greater Mid-Columbia. Our speakers at this time will include: * Michael Tormanen, owner of The Local Coffee Shop in Kennewick and part of an entrepreneurial team that is hoping to bring a Pybus Market-type facility to the Tri-Cities. * Tim Arntzen, executive director of the Port of Kennewick, who will talk about the port's ideas surrounding Vista Field, the Richland raceway and downtown Kennewick. * Allen Shoup, former CEO of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and founder of Long Shadows Vintners, who has helped shape the Washington wine industry for the past 30 years.
We appreciate our sponsors: The Tri-City Herald, Northwest Public Television/KTNW, Esprit Graphic, and Group Health.
