Is Christian nationalism a threat to American democracy, or does it hold promise to restore a divided nation?
Some say Christian nationalism is fanning our ongoing culture wars, even leading to violence. Others, however, say the Protestant Christian ethic can provide the basis for restoring faith in our government and each other.
To examine what Christian nationalism is, and the arguments for and against it, our speaker will be Dr. Paul D. Miller, a professor of the practice of international affairs at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and author of The Religion of American Greatness: What's Wrong with Christian Nationalism.
